Senior marketing direction and execution on-demand for businesses who've outgrown ad-hoc fixes and want consistent momentum with a trusted partner

Strategic Marketing Partner

(aka your marketing wingwoman)

At a certain stage, marketing stops being about ideas — and starts being about direction, prioritisation, and execution.

If your business has momentum but your marketing feels reactive, fragmented, or constantly restarting, this retainer gives you senior-level support without hiring in-house.

Most businesses reach a point where they need marketing support for both strategic direction and execution — but a full-time hire doesn’t make commercial sense, yet

• You don’t have the time, energy, or desire to manage marketing internally
• Your marketing to-do list has grown faster than your capacity
• You’re unclear on what to prioritise
• Brand and messaging lack consistency
• Momentum stalls and opportunities get missed

Hiring internally feels like the obvious next step — but it comes with cost, risk, and management load that you're unable to take on. So you could stay as is or consider an alternative.....

you may be at a stage where:

you may be at a stage where:

A junior full time marketer often costs $100k+ per year, with heavy direction required, limited strategic oversight

Why a Fractional Marketing partner makes sense. Hiring in-house isn’t just a salary decision.

A mid-level marketer sits closer to $150k per year, with more capability but limited strategic leadership

A senior or CMO-level hire can exceed $200k+ per year, before bonuses and onboarding

That’s before recruitment time, time to get up to speed, and the ongoing people management.....

You could pay less than a junior full time employee and gain a whole lot of good stuff:

Lower risk than hiring full time. Higher impact than random freelancers. The smarter way to gain senior marketing support

Just focused, considered marketing support — aligned to your business goals, minus the hand holding

Senior-level strategic thinking

Hands on execution where it matters most

A partner who already understands your business context

No hiring risk or long-term employment commitment

No micromanagement or “learning on your time”

A marketer with years of experience embedded into growing organisations

I’ve partnered with established brands including Visa, ING Bank, Westpac, and American Express — working closely with senior teams to bring clarity and momentum to complex marketing challenges.

Today, I bring that same senior-level thinking to growing businesses that need direction and delivery — without the overhead of a full-time hire. My role isn’t to “do marketing at” your business, but to understand context fast and move the right work forward with confidence.

So you can stop second-guessing your marketing — and get back to leading the business you’re building.

Frequently Asked Questions

back

How many hours per month does this include?

This depends on your business needs and outcome desired. Typically its about 5 hours per week however once your application is received, I’ll assess and work with you to determine what hours would be suitable. Scope and expectations are clearly defined upfront to ensure consistency and value each month.

Is there a minimum amount of hours for the retainer?

Retainers typically run for a minimum of 3 months, with investment typically starting at $2,000 per month. Support can scale from 5–40 hours per month depending on your needs. Retainer pricing is finalised after an initial application or discovery conversation, once scope, priorities, and level of support are clear. This ensures the engagement is appropriately sized and set up for success from the start.

I often recommend starting with a smaller piece of work first to ensure alignment, before moving into an ongoing partnership.

The exact focus is agreed upfront and reviewed regularly.

Do you replace internal marketing staff?

No. This role is designed to complement or lead existing resources, not replace them. I often work alongside internal team members or external specialists to provide direction and cohesion.

Is this suitable for multiple brands or business units?

Yes. This retainer works particularly well for businesses managing multiple brands or initiatives, where consistency, prioritisation, and senior oversight are needed without hiring separate resources for each brand.
